Meet Angie McConnell, one of the Wellness Center’s Group Fitness Instructors. Angie moved to Naples in 2001 from Atlanta. She has a degree in Emergency Medicine and was a Paramedic. She teaches all types of group fitness classes: Matte Pilates, Core, Barre, Spin, Aqua and More. Her enthusiasm for Zumba is prevalant when you are speaking with her. Zumba is very strict with their copyright and have specific instructions and trainings for their certified instructors.
How Zumba Works:
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
