Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Aqua Fitness

Aqua Fitness has perfected the combination of aerobic calorie burning with a challenging but low impact resistance workout. Your instructor will be using pool noodles, paddles and the water’s resistance to create a fun and effective exercise routine.

Mat Pilates

This class focusing on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina.  You will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core.  All levels are welcome.  Bring your mat, towel and water bottle.


In this class, you will explore some of the basic postures and breathing techniques that make up the practice of Hatha yoga. Students will learn about the basics of proper alignment and technique. Emphasis will be placed on core strength, flexibility and balance, as well as concentration and breath control. No yoga experience necessary, simply bring a willingness to move and play.

Core & More

Fun and energetic class suitable for all levels. Targeting your entire core, including hips and back, this class will use multiple tools to create a strong lean midsection. This is a very beneficial class for anyone who participates in rotational exercises (i.e. Golf & Tennis)


A fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that creates a dynamic and exciting workout based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO."  The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body


Spinning is challenging, fun, and one of the best ways to improve cardiovascular fitness while burning lots of calories. Because Spinning is low impact it is suitable for most people, and our classes can accommodate all ability levels.


This ballet inspired class corners the market for lean sculpted legs and core stability.  We work on centering the hips, challenging your balance, strength and stability, while moving the body in multiple planes of motion.  Barre is traditionally a barefoot class or if preferred using socks with grips is an option.  Please bring a mat, a towel and your water bottle.

Tai Chi

If you're looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi. Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.

Mindful Meditation with Sounds of Love

This class will teach us about the breath and various simple techniques to access the breath, quiet the mind and turn into the sublime radiance of our hearts. This class will also teach us how to meditate! We will review appropriate sitting postures for meditation. We will also explore what meditation is and what it is not.


This fun and energetic class will take Aqua-Aerobics to the next level. Join instructor, Blair Jefferson, as she guides you through water-based strength and balance training.

Journey within Yoga

Journey within Yoga is a gentle class for everyone to connect the breath with the movement.  A focus on being present with your alignment and creating a calmness and feeling of well being from within.

Flexibility and Focus Yoga

Flexibility & Focus Yoga is for anyone who wants to nourish the body for the activities you love the most. Help increase range of motion in the joints while honing mental concentration


A full-body cardio jam session combining light resistance with drumming. Combining cardio, isometric movements, plyometrics and isometric poses, all the while rocking to your favorite music.

Yoga Stretch

This deeply relaxing practice will offer a great total body stretch. Great for everyone who would like to increase mobility and flexibility. It also includes small exercise balls, which will allow for a deeper release of the muscles.
